Join the $TACO community

To be able to buy the Juicy Taco NFT, you need the MATIC token. As our ecosystem runs on the Polygon network. On this page, you can find a step-by-step guide. But if you already have a wallet you may skip directly to steps 5 & 6. Most of the work is the first-time setup of your wallet.

  • #1 MetaMask

    If you already have a MetaMask account, you may skip this step. You can join the Juicy Taco Club with any wallet, but MetaMask is our wallet of choice.

    • Go to metamask.io and download the app and/or browser extension.
    • Go through the setup and create your first Crypto Wallet
    • Make sure to store your personal keyphrase in a safe area and don’t lose it!

  • #2 The right network

    Crypto currencies are available on a lot of different networks. Each with their own flaws and benefits. $TACO runs on Polygon, so make sure to add this network to your wallet.

    • Go to Chainlist.org
    • Search for Polygon (pre-filled from URL)
    • Connect your MetaMask
    • Add Polyon Network to your wallet

  • #3 Add Matic token to your wallet

    Don’t see MATIC in your wallet? Double check if you’ve added the MATIC token to your wallet. Otherwise you won’t be able to see the crypto currency in your metamask after you’ve purchased some.

    • Go to CoinGecko and search for Polygon (link will bring you directly to Polygon token)
    • In the right sidebar under ‘info’, copy the token address – or click on the metamask icon to instantly add it to MetaMask
    • In your MetaMask, all the way at the bottom you should see a button that says ‘import tokens’
    • Click on that link and paste the address in the Contract Address field
    • The token symbol field should be autofilled afterwards
    • Wait until your MATIC is visible in your wallet

  • #4 Buy Crypto

    Time to buy some crypto. If you have a digital wallet, then you’re all set. A Juicy Taco NFT costs 99 MATIC.

    • Go to moonpay.com
    • Trade your preferred currency for MATIC
    • Search Polygon / Matic – on the Polygon network, not on Ethereum!
    • Select currency and complete payment steps
    • Wat 5 – 10 minutes to see MATIC in your wallet

  • #5 Mint your Juict Taco Club NFT

    Your key to the community, your key to the tacoverse, your key to enjoying the best of the world: Mexican food & drinks!

    • Go to our taco NFT mint page
    • Connect your wallet
    • Click ‘Mint NFT’ and wait for the transaction to complete
    • Welcome to our community, we’ll see you at the TACO PARTY later this year!

  • #6 Add your NFT to MetaMask

    You are now a member of the Juicy Taco Club and ready to enjoy life to the fullest. If you also want to see your NFT in your wallet to carry it around and brag to people, you need to add the NFT to your wallet

    • Open MetaMask (mobile app only)
    • Go to the tab ‘NFTs’
    • Click import NFTs and fill in the contract address: 0xBd570946faD4E3F98e29CB9eA17F3b8F0Dc04e6E (this is the address of the Juict Taco Club membership)
    • Add the NFT ID you see on your NFT in the Token ID field
    • If you cannot see your NFT right away, please swap back to ETH mainnet, and then back to the Polygon network
    • Try importing your token again and now it should work

    This is a bug due to MetaMask and has nothing to do with our Juicy Taco NFT.
